The Great Heat is the strongest stroke of the dog days. The sun baked the asphalt road bright, and cicadas rolled into golden balls among the leaves of wutong. The red lotus hangs with water droplets, like tears kissed by the heat. In the evening, there was a sudden downpour that dampened half of the wall ivy. The splashing water contained the hottest breath of the entire summer.

Anshan "(hull number 101)

On July 22, 1954, the first destroyer unit of the PLA Navy was officially established in Qingdao, and the first two destroyers were named "Anshan" (Ship 101) and "Fushun" (Ship 102). The addition of these two Soviet Type 07 destroyers (known as the "Wrath Class" by NATO) ended the history of the Chinese Navy without destroyers. As the first destroyer of the navy, the Anshan ship is known as the leader of the "Four Golden Kings" and, together with the later introduced "Changchun" (103) and "Taiyuan" (104), formed the core combat power of the early Chinese navy.

These four warships were once the largest surface vessels in Asia by tonnage, symbolizing the determination of New China to break through maritime blockades and build a modern navy. They have been in service for nearly 40 years, participating in multiple major exercises. After retirement, the Anshan ship was displayed as a national defense education exhibit at the Qingdao Naval Museum, witnessing the Chinese Navy's leap from coastal defense to deep blue.The "Four Great Vajras" are not only milestones in military equipment, but also carry the spiritual imprint of national self-improvement. ‌
